Your Help Makes the Difference

Since Cahercalla Community Hospital and Hospital is a not-for-profit facility, fundraising is obviously very important and key to our success.

There are many ways to get involved and support your community hospital – and our Fundraising Team is always here to guide and support you, to make sure you enjoy the experience of supporting Cahercalla.  Below are some examples of how you can help support the continued success of Cahercalla

Be part of the Biggest Coffee Morning/Day in September

Invite family, friends and colleagues to a coffee event and raise funds for the hospital while having fun. We can give you a pack that outlines all the information you need, to make it a success.

Offer your help on National Sunflower Day

This is a major event for us as all funds raised go directly to support Cahercalla Hospice. Why not give up an hour or so of your time and be a Volunteer on the day? If you are keen, please contact us at (065) 682 1966 or email mary@cahercalla.ie

Play. Win. Help.

That’s why our weekly lottery draw is all about. Each week you stand the chance to win a big cash prize – and know that you’re making a real difference to an important cause.

Bed Push

A fun way that Cahercalla has traditionally raised valuable funds.

Christmas in the Community

Support us by buying Cahercalla Hospice Charity Christmas Cards… or sponsor a light on our Memorial Christmas Tree.

Get Creative!

A baby photo competition, a line-dancing evening, a games night! A mini-marathon, shave-athon  or a no-smoking/chocolate day!  There are so many great, fun ways to raise funds – and we’ll help you in any way we can.

Make a Donation

You can show your support by making a donation, at any time:

  • Make a once-off donation or make a real long-term difference by giving a little each month. Simply complete a donation form.
  • By cheque made payable to ‘Cahercalla Hospice’ and sent to Fundraising Manager, Cahercalla Hospice, Ennis, Clare.
  • A cash donation into one of our collection boxes available in many shops and businesses around the county.
  • If you’re a couple getting married, why not consider asking your guests to make a donation to Cahercalla in lieu of wedding gifts? Replacing the usual wedding favours with a donation to the hospital is also a popular way to show your support.
