For each surgical procedure there will be a fee for the consultant, the anaethetist and the hospital.
The hospital currently has Direct Settlement arrangements with the major Health Insurers whereby the insurance company pays the hospital and consultants directly for the procedure.

It is essential that a patient knows their level of insurance cover as all policies vary and there may include certain exclusions or excesses. We would advise patients to contact their insurance company to see if any balance or excess applies to their particular cover. In instances where there is an excess or shortfall on your policy, you will be required to pay this to the hospital accounts department in advance of treatment.

Non Insured Patients
If you have no insurance or insured through other schemes we can provide you with an estimate of the cost. Please contact the Surgical Day Unit on (065) 6822322. All hospital accounts are required to be settled on the day of procedure.
Out-Patient Services
Out- patient services are payable on the day of attendance.
Ultrasound
For each ultrasound there will be a fee for the consultant and the hospital. A full list of fees is available from the Surgical Day Unit on (065) 6822322.
Forms of payment accepted
You may settle your account by cash, personal cheque or the following credit cards: Visa / Mastercard.
Please note we do not accept laser cards.
