The Clare Hospice Draw is an ongoing fundraiser with the sole aim of providing funds to ensure the Free Hospice Service at Cahercalla.
The Draw takes place weekly with two prizes;
- First Prize; €635
- Second Prize €127
For only €1.27 per week, €5.51 per month, €16.51 quarterly, €33.02 half yearly or €66.04 per year you could be included in our Draw which takes place each Tuesday at Noon. Winner’s names are included in Parish Newsletters and published in The Clare Champion weekly. Prizes are posted to the winners.

- One of the easiest ways to join is through your Bank by signing a Standing Order Form – download the standing order form

Payment Options for The Weekly Draw – Company Payroll Deduction Scheme
Companies and employees can also join through the Payroll Deduction Scheme. This involves employees authorising their employers to deduct €1.27 weekly (or multiples thereof) from their wages/salaries, which is subsequently forwarded the Hospice. This scheme is subject to prior agreement with employers.

Draw Promoters are very important contacts in our local community and assist us by recruiting and taking responsibility for Draw Patrons. Promoters can organise their collections on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis depending on the availability and convenience of the patrons who join the draw.

We are sincerely grateful to our Promoters and as a small token of our appreciation, each week of the Draw, prizes are awarded to the promoters of the Winners; €60 for first prize and €30 for second prize. It is our aim to minimise the tasks of promoters by providing all the appropriate literature and clear instructions.

- Promoter’s details are subject to Garda Clearance
- Promoters will be interviewed by a Fundraising Department Representative
